Hybrid Ear Pads
The ear pads of the TC had a great design. Despite sheepskin being the premium material for the application, many just prefer suede for comfort. So here we are; Abyss’s first fully hybrid pad design. The sonic benefits of leather, with the comfort benefits of suede.
Weight
Not that the TC were heavy, but Abyss knew they could do more. Their lightest headphone ever, with the DZ They're pushing the limits of CNCed aluminum can do. All with zero compromise to structural stability. Proof all the way down to how it sounds.

Inlay - Abalone
With a more premium product, Abyss team is able to source more premium materials. New Zealand Abalone, a natural product from a Snail like ocean creature, radiates elegance. A tasteful dash of blue or violet will pop off your headphone stand.
Inlay-Damascus
The art of the folded samurai blade married to the modern miracle that is carbon fiber. Two exquisite Damascus forged carbon fiber inlays. For a more reserved look, the 600 layered Damascus forged in black, and for a hint of shimmer, the 300 layered Gold forged.
Comfort -
Sling Headband
The final piece to the universal fitting headphone : The Sling Headband. While not new to the industry, Abyss’s has the largest contacts points for maximum durability, with a custom designed Japanese fabric material optimized for skin to skin contact as well as hair stability. These headphones will disappear on your head.
NEW Diana DZ Driver
Each step from V1 to Phi to TC Drivers saw a marked increase in resolution. With the DZ we take that resolution, and tweak it into a tune that is more musical and pleasing than anything we have made before. Scales perfectly with higher end equipment, this truly is an immersive experience unique to Abyss.
