The Hifiman Susvara headphones were first presented to the public in the spring of 2017.
The Susvara's magnificent openness is complemented by a beautiful depth, and these two components of the soundstage result in a perfectly balanced and coherent listening experience, both in terms of depth and width, making it remarkably believable.
The Susvaras are the same vein as the HE1000 V2, but offers an even more refined sound, slightly less bright, more muted.
Subjectively, no brightness or mid/high frequencies seem to be emphasized, so the sound produced by the Hifiman Susvaras is always remarkably smooth and natural, like a live concert.
The listening experience is therefore very relaxing.
The timbres are full and rich, yet sufficiently refined and incisive to sound strikingly natural and accurate.
The Susvaras combines, and to my knowledge are the only headphones that can do so today:
Smoothness and refinement, richness and fullness of timbre, with the clarity, airiness, and transparency of the best headphones in these respects.
Be warned, the Susvaras are very demanding in terms of power and will push many amplifiers to their limits.
